At Deer Shed Festival, The Skate Scholarship runs a fun, beginner-friendly workshop for under-8s in the Roller Disco Tent. Kids can learn the basics of skating in a safe, supportive space, guided by expert instructors. With music, laughter, and plenty of encouragement, it’s the perfect way for young children to gain confidence, try new moves, and discover the joy of skating.
This is a 45-minute session for under 8's (parents must attend and participate - under 12's must be accompanied by a ticketed adult).Small group size (max 26 participants) for personalised attention. Skate hire, helmet & pads included—just select your shoe size at booking (or bring your own skates).

With spaces reserved for ticket holders, it’s a brilliant social skate where friends can dance, roll, and soak up some retro disco energy together.
This is a 60-minute social skate for all ages (Under 12's must be accompanied by a ticketed adult). A shared session with a capacity of 30. The Skate Scholarship
Leeds-based non-profit CIC The Skate Scholarship returns for Deer Shed 2026, bringing skate and roller sports to a new generation of young enthusiasts.
Born from a mission to make skating accessible to everyone, regardless of background or experience, they’ve already inspired countless young people—especially following the recent surge in popularity of roller skating. Their sessions are designed to be fun, inclusive, and confidence-building for all skill levels.

While your loved ones get their skates on—literally—you can dance as long as you like at the Feet Party.
The Wheels and Feet Roller Disco Tent is split into two areas: the wheels side for skaters and the feet side for dancers. Whatever your age, if skating isn’t your thing there’s plenty of room to boogie all day to our top-class festival DJs.

Roller Disco Death Party DJ Set
As a one-off special treat, we couldn’t resist asking Roller Disco Death Party to spin a DJ set in our Roller Disco Tent.
With a name like theirs, it felt like they were born for this space—we’d have been rude not to ask! We’re thrilled they said yes, bringing their wild, glitter-fuelled disco-punk energy to get everyone dancing, laughing, and fully immersed in festival chaos.

Festival friend and GO Yoga founder, Sophie steps behind the decks for her first full-length set at Deer Shed, bringing high-energy beats, infectious vibes, and a night of unforgettable rhythm.

Mister Jones
Daz “Mister Jones” Jones began spinning vinyl in Leeds at just 14, quickly making waves across clubs in the North.
Influenced by festivals like Creamfields and Glastonbury, his sets mix Piano, Soulful, Jackin, Vocal House, and NuDisco. As co-founder of FML (Funk My Life), he’s taken the brand global, featuring in Ibiza and events with legends like Roger Sanchez. Decades on, Mister Jones continues to innovate and energise the modern House scene.
Bri Buckle
Bri Buckle is a UK-based DJ and producer with releases on Hot Groovers, Groove Technicians, and Cleveland City Records.
With years of residencies and high-energy performances, Bri delivers groove-driven, genre-spanning sets built for incredible sound systems and lively dance floors. Her tightly curated style fuses classic influences with cutting-edge sounds, keeping the energy soaring and the crowd moving from the first beat to the last.
MarmaJam DJ
Marma Jam has been keeping dance floors moving from Leeds to Ibiza and even across the pond in New York.
As a resident for Funk My Life, he delivers a vibrant mix of funky disco grooves and soulful tunes. Blending classic sounds with modern energy, his sets revive the spirit of old-school dance music, creating an infectious atmosphere that keeps crowds moving, smiling, and coming back for more.
Mosh Tots
Mosh Tots bring the ultimate mini music party to the Roller Disco Tent at Deer Shed.
Perfect for ages 1–8, it introduces little rockers to live music in a safe, playful space. Families can dance, sing, and explore different genres together, with chances for kids to join in and make music themselves.
It’s all about fun, rhythm, and sparking a lifelong love of live music for the whole family.
