False Idah is a rising voice in the UK indie-folk scene, creating quietly powerful, emotionally driven songs where voice and feeling take centre stage. With minimal guitar and subtle strings, her sound is intimate, spacious and reflective.

Her debut project Conditions – the first part of a two-part EP produced with Adam Scrimshire – explores grief, anger, hope and acceptance, marking what she describes as a shift from “False Idah to True Idah.”

A captivating live performer, she has supported Daudi Matsiko, appeared at Glastonbury Festival, and sold out her first headline show in early 2025. Honest and understated, her music lingers long after the final note.
