There are bands who write songs, and then there are bands who pick up the whole country, give it a shake, and hold the bits up to the light. Sleaford Mods have been doing exactly that for over a decade now—spitting out brutally funny, painfully sharp snapshots of modern Britain over Andrew Fearn’s stripped-to-the-bone beats. It’s punk, it’s hip-hop, it’s electronic minimalism, it’s rant-as-poetry… and somehow it’s also extremely danceable, which feels like a public service at this point.

Jason Williamson’s delivery remains one of the great forces in contemporary music: half bark, half sermon, and always absolutely unfiltered. One minute you’re laughing, the next minute you’re questioning every life decision you’ve ever made. They have that effect.

We’ve wanted to get them to Baldersby for ages, and 2026 is finally the year. Expect catharsis, limbs everywhere, and a field full of people shouting along to lines they probably shouldn’t teach their children. Do not miss this one.
