As I've said an irritating number of times before, I think cutting through as a solo artist armed only with an acoustic guitar is perhaps one of the hardest genres to make an impact in. You have to be really good. Laura Marling is a benchmark of course, and recently we have been graced by Jacob Alon.

What has convinced me that Yoshika Colwell has these qualities is her performance on this video filmed live at The State 51 Factory, wherever that is. So gentle acoustic guitar, harp and vocals can indeed have an edge to it. Hats off to whoever recorded and mixed this live performance too.

Yoshika mentions Talk Talk as an influence in here biog, and in her tracks with a larger ensemble I think that does come over. All good, hats off, much to appreciate here :)
