We think this is the third appearance by The Unthanks at Deer Shed.

Listening to the amazing track by The Unthanks and the Brighouse & Rastrick Brass Band featured here I'm struck by two things. First that they sum up a much earlier period of Deer Shed's history (when things seemed simpler but were probably no less fraught!) and secondly how evocative they are of past lives lived in their part of the world, Northumbria, not too far from us in North Yorkshire.

I'm also a bit sad I can't find an amazing video that we shot of the Unthanks sisters in the Baldersby Park belt. I'll keep looking.
