Big Special are a bag full of beans. They will insist that you have a great show both verbally (as they did last time we saw them - 'come on guys, let's raise the energy levels!') and through the raw emotion sonically conveyed so convincingly.

Notwithstanding very high levels of positivity, the subject matter of the band's tunes explores life’s tougher edges, from mental health struggles to political disillusionment, resonating deeply with fans seeking honesty, as well as intensity.

One of their tunes 'I mock joggers' is straight out of the Sleaford Mods playbook of vitriol.

Gritty, often bluesy, sometimes brash, they are a not to be missed Deer Shed show. And afterwards, take a good long hard look at yourself :)
