When describing Wunderhorse to people at some point I'll say they are a 'proper band' - this often begs the question 'what are all the other bands you book then?!' Further clarifications are clearly required.

So here we go: not overly reliant on aesthetics to cement their appeal - but instead, a high degree of musicianship - they're a group that takes the guitar, bass, drums format and pushes it as far as it will go and yet effortlessly sits within its confines. All without the assistance of electronic gadgetry (and I am a big fan of electronic gadgetry).

Guitar riffs, a tight rhythm section, lyrics that convey a sense of a life lived, and loads of charisma. A redefining of that most unfashionable term - 'rock music'. Eek.

From the same lineage as (old old) R.E.M., The Police, Nirvana or XTC but with modern sensibilities.

We are beyond delighted to welcome a band who have surely had one of the most meteoric rises of recent years to headline in Baldersby Park this year - and for those that have not seen them live you must check them out on YouTube.

You will love them, your kids will love them. That's all I have to say :)
