Pillow Queens are a Dublin-based indie rock band known for their distinctive sound, introspective lyrics, and dynamic performances.

They’re not the first artists for whom the experience of growing up in Ireland has had a profound impact upon their artistic output, themes of inclusivity and acceptance abound. The weight of all this is quite apparent as you listen, and whilst their sound is quite poppy, with distorted guitars et al the lyrics and delivery are pointed and serious beans.

With a couple of albums worth of tunes to go at, we’re looking forward to absorbing their energy at the festival this year.
