I am listening to Stornoway's older stuff, start with Zorbing, everyone in the office starts humming. We have history with Stornoway, a personal history it seems by the spontaneity of the singalong, they’ve also played the festival during what we might call the Stornoway first wave.

New single Excelsior is "a beautiful elegy inspired by the devastating change in British woodlands resulting from fungal disease Ash Dieback”. The subject matter in of itself ought to have you flocking to see them.

Simply a great band, and a national treasure. Let's hope the second waves last for a good long while.
