Bristolian funny man, Mark Watson, is a face, name, and voice you will recognise. After 15 years of success on the comedy circuit, Mark first rose to notoriety after he challenged himself to put on a 24-hour gig at the Edinburgh Fringe (twice!).

His rise to fame began with a BBC radio show, Mark Watson ‘Makes the World Substantially Better’, which also starred Tim Minchin and Tim Key and (due to its cult status) can often be heard replaying on BBC Radio Four’s digital sister BBC Four Extra. Whilst reviewers have described his stand-up as ‘deeply personal’, Mark himself describes it as 'more or less autobiographical'.

A frequent collaborator with comedy greats Tim Key and Alex Horne, Mark is no stranger to the Big Top at Deer Shed. First headlining our PG rated early evening mixed bill back in 2016 (a challenge he breezed past with flying colours) to performing a set from a tree (with help from our tree climbing team) back at Base Camp Plus during COVID.

He’s a Deer Shed favourite and we felt it was only right to invite him back to headline our late-night comedy where he doesn’t have to watch his P&Q’s.
