You’d be forgiven for thinking we’ve made a mistake here… Can this really be the prolific Scottish troubadour James Yorkston on stage with Nina Persson, erstwhile singer of Swedish legends The Cardigans?

The short answer is yes and the slightly longer answer is yes, you’re welcome! After being introduced by a mutual acquaintance, Yorkston and Persson worked on a collection of songs that, with the improvisational help of Sweden’s Second Hand Orchestra, became gorgeous new album ‘The Great White Sea Eagle’.

A heartfelt reminder that the world is sometimes a much smaller place than we think, it’s our pleasure to host James and Nina together on the same stage!
