Since they busked on the Pallet Stage long ago at Deer Shed Festival, we’ve watched on in awe as The Howl & The Hum have fast become one of the most in-demand indie bands Yorkshire has to offer. Their poetic lyrics and distinctive instrumentation shine brighter than ever on debut album Human Contact, which took on a new meaning through its release during lockdown. How lucky we were, then, to witness their first live performance in months at Deer Shed Base Camp.
